Running
I've been running on and off ever since middle school indoor track, when I ran mid-distance events. In college, I have since finished 3 half marathons and 1 full marathon so far. Distance running is my favorite way to clear my head and build endurance.
Cycling
I've grown up cycling with my family. My dad and I have done 5 century rides together (100+ milers). It is a great way to explore a new place, push yourself, and build mental and physical endurance.
Pickleball
I tried out and made the UVA Social Pickleball team, and won the intramural doubles tournament. It's a super competitive group with fast-paced play and everyone pushing each other to get better. Pickleball is all around an awesome sport for anytime fun.
Traveling
I studied abroad in Valencia, Spain in my junior year and lived with a host family. While there, I explored 15+ countries and 30+ cities, seeing the wonders of Europe and Africa. I've traveled around the world with my family as well, hitting over 20 countries total. Getting immersed in so many completely different cultures, foods, and environments really taught me how much our differences are actually what bring us together.
